Saudi Arabia has opened 23 visa centres across the kingdom to assist foreigners in regularizing their residency status. The centres provide a streamlined process for individuals to update their legal status and obtain a six-month visit visa. The initiative aims to simplify administrative procedures for foreign nationals living in the country.
The new centres are part of Saudi Arabia’s broader efforts to improve immigration services and enhance the experience of foreign residents. Officials stated that the centres will operate in major cities to ensure accessibility. The six-month visa allows individuals to stay in the country legally while they work on long-term residency applications.
This move follows recent reforms in Saudi Arabia’s immigration policies, which have sought to attract foreign talent and improve the legal framework for expatriates. The government has been working to modernize its visa system in line with Vision 2030 goals. The new centres are expected to reduce bureaucratic delays and provide clearer pathways for foreign residents to maintain their legal status.
