Dubai has announced four categories of foreigners eligible for its 10-year Golden Visa. The new rules, effective immediately, allow specialist workers, top graduates, investors, and entrepreneurs to qualify for the long-term residency permit. The Golden Visa offers a renewable 10-year stay, with the option to extend.

The four eligibility routes include professionals in high-demand fields, graduates from top universities, individuals who invest a minimum of 500,000 dirhams, and entrepreneurs who create jobs in the emirate. The policy aims to attract talent and investment while supporting economic growth.

This update follows Dubai’s ongoing efforts to diversify its economy and reduce reliance on traditional sectors. The Golden Visa has been a key tool in attracting skilled workers and entrepreneurs since its introduction in 2019. The new categories expand opportunities for foreign professionals and business owners, aligning with the city’s vision of becoming a global business hub.
